RARE Whiting & Davis Modernist Hinged Cuff/Bangle~ This striking & rare piece of jewelry features a lattice-cut out style pattern, reminiscent of Eastern and old world architecture. The wide bangle/cuff features a hinge for ease of putting on and taking off. The clasp which works perfectly and it retains its safety chain. The mark of "Whiting & Davis" is clearly visible and found on the inside of the piece.Whiting & Davis was established in 1876. In 1892 Mr. Whiting designed the first mesh bag, with all rings formed and joined by hand, and an Icon was born; from flappers to disco divas and first ladies, Whiting Davis mesh designs have been a high fashion staple ever since.Measurements: 2.5" W x 2" D x 1.5" HCondition: This beautiful cuff/bangle has the mark/stamp of "Whiting & Davis" and is in Beautiful Condition for its age, as shown in photos.
