SUPER FLUFFY KNIT RAGLAN V-GUSSET CREWNECK

The Tompkins sweat series, which was discontinued due to the retirement of the craftsmen, is now highly sought after. In order to revive this rare fabric, we focused on an old sinker knitting machine at a knit factory in Wakayama, and using a 70s Japanese sinker machine, we created a new LOOP & WEFT old sinker sweat series with special know-how.

The fabric inherits the fluffy and unique texture of Tompkins sweat, while also having the characteristics of a sinker machine: a beautiful loop structure and fabric stability that is resistant to deformation after shrinkage and wear. It overcomes the disadvantages of old-fashioned knitting machines, such as fabric twisting and unstable shrinkage after washing, and is an evolved original brushed back fleece. The texture reminiscent of vintage sweatshirts will increase its character with age, and it is made as a special brushed back fleece where you can experience the unique fluffy, warm, and comfortable feel the moment you put your arms and neck through it.

The shape is based on a 60s raglan sweatshirt motif. It features raglan sleeves with a straight line that allows for a wide range of motion in the shoulders and arms, excellent mobility, comfort, and ease of putting on and taking off; a durable special three-needle, one-needle-over binder neck; a V-gusset sewn with a four-needle stitch by cutting out the body; a collar sewn on the front side; four-needle flat seam sewing that skilled technicians take time to sew; thick rib specifications that are resistant to twisting; and a classic and highly heat-retaining special brushed back fleece. The fine details have been reconstructed with care, and the stitch work, with different thread colors on the front and back, enhances the overall atmosphere of the design. The raglan design without shoulder lines allows you to wear it without worrying about shoulder width or shape, and the silhouette with a moderate amount of room in the body width is a well-balanced regular fit that enhances wearability and is also suitable for layering.
