Shan-Merry began her artistic studies in 1957 at the Ecole Nationale Superior des Arts et Metiers, in Angers, France. By 1972 she was working as a professional fine artist and began exhibiting regularly in Paris and in the South of France in Provence, and in Cannes, Antibes, Grasse and other Mediterranean locations. By the 1990’s her works were included in prestigious international collections and exhibitions in Belgium, Germany, Japan and the United States.
