Samsung LYNK Reach 3.0 Server

The Samsung CY-HDS02A/ZA is a server that runs LYNK REACH 3.0 software and places full control of Samsung hospitality televisions in one location, allowing staff to create, schedule, and push branded content without visiting each room.

The system communicates over the coaxial RF network already found in most hotels, so there is no need to invest in new IP cabling. Microsoft Windows Embedded Standard 7 provides a familiar operating environment, while the LYNK REACH interface simplifies tasks such as channel mapping, welcome messaging, and firmware distribution.

A dual core 1.6 GHz AMD processor works with 4 GB of memory and a 128 GB solid state drive to keep menus responsive and to store media assets securely. Integrated Radeon HD 6320 graphics can drive a local monitor through VGA or DVI-D during setup or status checks.

The chassis fits in a 1U rack space and includes an internal cooling fan for reliable, continuous operation. Four USB ports support peripherals or backup drives, the LAN port connects to property networks when needed, and an RF output feeds the head-end distribution system.
