• [Excellent water absorbency, a characteristic of Senshu towels] After bleaching method, which washes off the oil, impurities, and glue from the cotton after weaving the fabric, makes them highly water absorbent from the first use. *If possible, do not use fabric softener, as it alienates water absorbency. *Although it has excellent water absorbency, some customers may find them hard to wipe with because of the lack of pile (loop part of the towel). • [Made in Japan] 100% of the thread we use is from Japanese spinning company “KB Tsuzuki.” They make their thread in Izumo, Shimane, which is famous for Izumo-taisha. Even from the thread, it is made in Japan.

Generally, towels cannot be woven without coating the cotton thread with glue, but Nitta Towel can weave without glue. By not using glue, we preserve cotton's character of absorbing water and its texture, and our towels are softer than other towels.
