This is an unconventional fragrance that combines woody, ambery, and coniferous notes with the barest touch of smoke. The pimiento and saffron give it just enough bite, but despite the bottle design, I don’t find it animalic at all. Sandalwood is listed as a base note, but it’s very present throughout.

Top: cypress ᐧ elemi ᐧ pimiento berries
Middle: incense ᐧ saffron ᐧ gurjum
Base: sandalwood ᐧ cedarwood ᐧ styrax ᐧ ambergris
