Heel protector

These are for keeping the foot and ankle protected from pressure sores. They are used during times of rest/limited mobility. They fasten with Velcro for easy on and off. The first 4 photos are of my actual items, the last 2 from Styker store.

My momma passed before having the opportunity to try them. She often developed pressure sores where her feet and ankles touched the bed, chair, or floor. For purposes of this listing, I tried one on. I was able to easily put it on myself (even with a big belly in the way!) while in a bed and on a sofa. They open wide and then close with Velcro. It felt like my foot was wrapped in a pillow! It was warm and cushy. I was able to remove it with a one-handed flick of Velcro.

This includes 2 Prevalon brand booties, one for each foot. In addition, there is a stabilizing wedge that can be attached to help keep the foot in a forward-facing position, i.e. not rotated in or out. This wedge is also attached or removed with Velcro as desired.
