I purchased this at a military shop in Tokyo, claiming it was authentic, but I'm unsure of its true origin.
There is some aging, but it's overall well-made and suitable for collection or display.
It has the characteristic smell of leather products.
The chin strap also has unique markings, which I believe are rare.
The helmet size is also large.
Therefore, while many helmets in Japan are small, this one is the perfect size.
