This item is an autographed copy of the "Curt Simmons Day" program from the Egypt Memorial Park Festival on June 2nd, 2012. The nearly 80 page program measures 5 1/4" wide and 8 1/2" tall. It features articles and pictures about former Phillies pitcher Curt Simmons and the Egypt Memorial Park where Curt lived. Along with right-hander Robin Roberts, Simmons was one of the twin anchors of the starting rotation of the "Whiz Kids", the Philadelphia Phillies' 1950 National League (NL) championship team. He also played for the Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Angels, and St. Louis Cardinals.
The program and autograph are in great condition and ready to add to your collection.
