Antique cigarette case most likely silver or nickel plated over brass. This case is dated February 19, 1918 and was manufactured by Elgin Manufacturing Company serial (# 475995). Case is 4 1/8 by 4 3/16 inches in size. The case is engraved Seventh Grade to a Captain B.P. Poe (1920), W.M.A. (Wentworth Military Academy) out of Lexington Missouri. Beautiful piece of military memorabilia.
