- OEM direct-replacement type cables are designed to fit Johnson and Evinrude engine control heads which use a proprietary control connection. This cable does NOT come with connection ends. These cables replaces Johnson / Evinrude 400 type cables.
- Drop-in replacement cables are engineered as replacments for original equipment cables. Cables use the existing connection componets. Stainless steel and brass fittings.
- Standard cables use stainless steel Lubri-Core core wire for smooth operation and long life. 8" minimun bend radius. Black HDPE outer casing for durability and best resistance to UV and chemicals.
- Applications: OMC / Johnson / Evinrude Pre-1979 with BRP/OMC controls. Replaces 400 Type cables.
- This cable does NOT come with the connection ends. The purchase of the 400 Type connection kit ( Item AMRT-CA27208P.1 ) may be required.
