Fun summer activity! Vintage set of Samantha's Pastimes - looked to be never opened, but wasn't sure so I removed the packets from the plastic cover. Looks like the packets have been looked at, but never used. Set includes "Activities from the past for Girls of Today." Four packets are included - cookbook, craft book, paper dolls, and theater kit. The Cookbook features recipes from Samantha's era along with historical facts about food preparation and consumption in the era. The cookbook has items associated with two "meals" and favorite foods. The Craft Book features different crafts of varying skill from simple to advanced. Several crafts are for toys and playthings of the era, home decoration, or clothing accessories. The Paper Dolls packet includes paper dolls of Samantha and her dog, plus her ten elegant outfits. Lastly, the Theater Kit includes four script books and a director's book that has acting tips, costume and prop ideas, and instructions for presentation.
